Juliana Kanyomozi Promises Fans Big Comeback With Online Concert

1 Mins read

Uganda’s top female singer, Juliana Kanyomozi has promised her fans a big comeback this year by releasing new projects and organising an online concert after spending some good time of the entertainment scene.

Kanyomozi who is currently out of the country, was arguably the biggest female artiste in East Africa during her time.

She made all the history in Uganda but when her only son passed on a couple of years ago, things didn’t remain the same for the song bird.

She began releasing music the way she wanted in addition to disappearing from public space.

The outbreak on COVID-19 led to closure of public events and concerts prompting artistes to quickly resort to online concerts as means of survival.

Given the fact that online concerts were something new to most of the artistes, many of them didn’t come through.

Given her nature, Kanyomozi is among artistes who didn’t release new songs last year.

But through a live chat on Instagram, fans requested her to at least stage for them an online music concert since she has taken long with performing.

She positively responded to their request and promised that she will look into staging one when she returns home as she is looking forward to releasing new music.

“I have been quiet for a long time but I needed that time because it’s has been crazy for me. I am also going to organise an online concert but it needs when I am back and I hope to see you soon guys,” she said.

She furthermore revealed that she has lots of music that she is working on that her fans should eagerly wait.

“I have new projects. I miss you guys, I have been out of the country for some time but I can’t wait to come home, I miss singing for you but I will be back soon, so new projects are coming,” she noted.

She also encouraged her fans to continue observing COVID-19 guidelines.

“You guys be careful, continue to wear your masks, wash your hands and avoid crowded places. It’s not safe to be out there mixing with people,” she advised.
