Leave My Wife Alone — Gen Muhoozi Warns Dr Besigye

1 Mins read

The Senior Presidential advisor in charge of Special Operations and First son, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has warned former FDC President Dr Kizza Besigye to leave his wife, Charlotte Muhoozi alone.

The warning comes shortly after Besigye accused Charlotte Muhoozi’s company, Silverbacks Pharmaceuticals Ltd, of supplying an oxygen plant to Mulago National Referral Hospital at an inflated rate.

However, in a tweet Muhoozi refuted the allegations and asked Besigye not involve his family in any political matter.

“Colonel Besigye, were you a ‘Royal’ when you came with Mzee in 1985 to our home in Sweden? If you want to attack me, I’m right here. Leave my wife alone,” he tweeted.

Few months ago, Kainerugaba also warned the National Unity Platform (NUP) principle and Presidential contender Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine that he will be defeated should he seek non-peaceful means in his search for presidency.

His statement rocked social media where different people were in support of his remarks while others castigating him.

“I told you, my young brother, that you can NEVER intimidate us. We are much stronger than you can ever imagine being. If you want to fight, we will simply defeat you. We want peace! But if you attempt to fight us then Bring it on!”

Muhoozi also praised the security personnel for doing a good job including putting Bobi Wine in “his place”.

“Indeed, it’s not by surprise that’s why he said and emphasized to increase the salaries of the security men because they are doing a better job just like an hour ago to position him well back on track,” he said.
