Kamuli Municipality Member of Parliament, Hajjat Rehema Watongola has succumbed to the COVID-19, Ug Mirror reports.

Watongola died from Mulago National Referral hospital on Saturday morning where she had been admitted for some time.

Watongola is the second MP to die of COVID-19 after Pallisa district Woman MP, Faith Alupo who passed on in September.

As of now, the cumulative cases are now 15,402 with 144 deaths and 8,038 recoveries.
