Moses Kasibante Is Bigger Than People Power — Kato Lubwama

1 Mins read

Rubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama has said that the incumbent MP Rubaga North, Moses Kasibante is bigger that the National Unity Platform and Power Power combined.

His remarks come shortly after NUP denied the legislator the party ticket, instead it was given to KCCA speaker Abubaker Kawalya.

Kasibante was part of a group of DP members who crossed to NUP in August.

Speaking to the journalists over the weekend in Kampala, Lubwama said NUP decision to deny Kasibante a party flag is unfortunate adding that there was an unfair and poor vetting process.

“Kasibante is a big brand, he is bigger than the whole NUP, I told him not to join NUP but he took me for granted, Kasibante was already in politics when those members on vetting committee were even still in primary school,” said Kato.

“Bobi Wine came to demoralise Besigye, my people of Rubaga told me to join NUP but I refused because am a big brand, am bigger than the whole NUP party, actually I wasn’t surprised when Kasibante was denied a NUP card,” he added.

Kato vowed to defeat NUP candidate in Rubaga South come 2021 adding that all people should stop the bandwagon brought in by Bobi Wine otherwise they will end up regretting.
