The leader of National unity Platform, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has unveiled groups of teachers, boxers and youth from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) who crossed to National Unity Platform party.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held at the party headquarters, Kyagulanyi said enough is enough, this is the time to liberate the country.

“This was yet another great day as we received a number of comrades into the National Unity Platform (NUP). We received over 100 teachers,” said Kyagulanyi.

Kyagulanyi said teachers are very noble citizens and the country knows how they suffer under the present regime.

“We are delighted to get thoughts from them about how we can improve the education system when we are in the new Uganda,” he added.

He said that he is very delighted to receive these groups of people who have been mobilising for NRM and President Museveni in Kampala.

“They indicated that they have been doing this in order to get money, but even then, the regime has used them time and again and given them nothing in return,” he said

He said the next move is to embark on the process of getting others on board.

“I was also extremely delighted to receive over 100 professional boxers into the National Unity Platform. It was an absolute pleasure to receive these comrades who are part of my family,” he said

“As a boxer myself, I was super happy to receive these friends most of whom I have known for several years. They are ready to join us as we struggle to redeem our country and improve sports of all kinds,” Kyagulanyi added.

Kyagulanyi urged the new entrants not to be intimated or lied to by the ruling NRM but rather urged them to keep their focus on the end goal, which is to oust President Museveni.
