NRM Electoral Commission chairman, Tanga Odoi ha disclosed that they have a lot of money to fund the 2021 elections.
This comes at a time when several opposition MPs accused NRM of using government money to fund its activities.
“I want to tell National Unity Platform, DP, FDC and let them listen, NRM uses money raised by itself,” roared Tanga before adding that;
“We don’t use your government money. If we used government money, by now all of you would have eaten second lunch.”
Tanga also warned his NRM Electoral Commission officials of extortion and asking for more money from the aspirants.
“We call upon security to actually link up with us and we shall send you the official documents and if any official charges beyond that, he must be arrested.
