The 2021 political drama series is registering new episodes, the latest being the NRM youth who have formed a united pressure group dubbed “Yellow Power” intended to give a rebuttal to the youthful People Power movement ahead of 2021 general elections.

According to the spokesperson of the group, Kisembo Justus, People Power has no grassroots noting that most of the people that have joined people Power Movement claiming that they are not satisfied with the government services are lying.

“We are here to gather people who still appreciate the effort our government has put in place to lift us as youth so that we can fight the lies that form the people Power ,I can tell you that people is made by lies,”he said during an interview.

Kisembo said that group has come to capitalize on the strength of the party and show some kind of appreciation to the people that the government is doing something for the people especially the youth.

“Much as our government has got some weakness but we have to accept that the government has done a lot to transform this country than the past regimes. We are a group of people that have come to show the world that we can still appreciate what the government has done for this country not to capitalize on the weakness like People Power,”he said.

He said although most people are embracing People Power movement, there is a lot of thing that is being done by the government to shape the future of youth.

“Look at their leader, he went and look for a fake party ,a party which is not known. The truth is that there are parties that have done a lot for opposition, So NUP is not among them ,these people want to mislead the youth,”he said.

He said youth should open up their eyes and join NRM because the party is  very strong and organise with clear strategies than the National Unity Platform.

“We want to begin from the grassroots as our elders do it from the above so that we can link up and the services will flow from the top to the grass roots,”Kisembo said.
