Sanyu FM Employees Were Dismissed After Failing to Come to a Truce With Owners Over Salary Reduction

The Chief executive officer Sanyu FM, Sudhir Ruparelia has sacked the  entire Sanyu FM Staff over Lay down Strike in a protest against the cut off salary during the period of lowdown, Ug Mirror has learnt. 

The dismmisal came as a result of three days strike where Sanyu FM workers laid down tools demonstrating over Salary Cut by the Company.
According to the source, Sudir had tried to explained to the employees to understand the current situation where Uganda economy is struggling to regain it’s recovery but his plea fell into deaf hears.

However, the  workers accused their  CEO of lack of respect of the worker’s calls.

They also faulted him for ignoring their demands in many occasions. 

The management decided  to replace the morning show hosts where Comedian Patrick Salvador will be hosting the Breakfast Show at the station.

The Breakfast Show runs from 06:00 am to 10:00 am from Monday to Friday will be hosted by the man from Ombokollo has promised to bring magic to the Station starting from today.

Sanyu FM is one of the leading Radio stations in the capital Kampala and has gained a great fan base for its social programs which relate with the many youths in the City.

The source also told this website that the  Station is currently  looking for new hosts of the different programs on the station.

The sacked workers vowed to take further steps to seek for justice.
