11 New COVID-19 Cases Detected, Uganda Now Stands At 74

Uganda has today detected 11 new case of COVID -19 brining the total number of cases to 74 in Uganda.

Among the cases are 6 Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula Border post, 5 Kenyan truck drivers of whom 3 arrived via Malaba and 2 arrived via Busia.

There has been a concert of truck drivers and Uganda was looking on the ways on how to allow cargo moving minus increasing the risk of spreading the virus.

Among the alternative, the best way was riley driving where truck drivers are not allowed to go past their country’s border posts.

The total number of discharged patients is 45.
