A few months ago, Lake Victoria has burst its shoreline and the impact of the ever rising water levels is bringing more trouble facilities that are near the shore.
It has been reported that a section of Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa has been submerged in water that is rising on a daily.
Photos seen by Ug Mirror show that the Golf bar section and the marina are submerged in Water.
In the last few months, there has been distress from farmers, business facilities, residential premises and other premises along the lakeshore due to rising water levels.
The rise in the water level has been attributed to torrential rain that has been pounding the country for several months.
Many commercial facilities on the shoreline have been flooded and submerged. Environmentalists say this unpredictable flooding points to climate change occasioned by global warming due to man’s relentless war against nature.
