Museveni in Nairobi for late Arap Moi Prayers

President Yoweri Museveni is in Nairobi, the Kenyan Capital on a one-day visit during which he will join other leaders and attend a multi-denominational funeral service for former Kenya President Daniel arap Moi who passed away last week in at a private hospital in Nairobi aged 95 years old.

The service is slated to take place later today at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi. All flags in Kenya are flying at half-mast as a sign of national mourning for the late arap Moi who governed Kenya from 1978 to 2002.

President Museveni was received on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport this morning by Kenya Minister for Petroleum and Mining, Mr. John Munyes.

Mr. Museveni was treated to a street guard mounted by Kenya Air Force personnel.
