The revelation was made in a three day joint meeting that was held at silver spring hotel in Kampala.

The meeting was chaired by Rwanda head of delegation Brig Gen Denis Rutaha. Lt Col. Henry Obbo, the UPDF deputy spokesperson, said, “we are meeting here in Uganda in preparation of a field training exercise which is supposed to take place in November this year.”

Jacob Siminyu, the spokesperson immigration department explained why the immigration will be part of this meeting.

“The role of immigration is important because it is the one that determines how soon will the person be admitted in the country,” he said.

Frank Baine the spokesperson Uganda prisons also added:” Keeping law and order is a key factor for police so what happens when police arrest people? Where does it take them, they will end up in prison and that is why you need the prisons.”
