Singer Ibrahim Mayanja commonly known as Big Eye has called upon Ugandans to give president Museveni  another chance come 2021 general elections.

His comments came shortly after his participation in the Museveni great trek which was  named “Africa Kwetu” last week.

President Museveni led veterans, youth and well-wishers in a 60 mile (195km) symbolic trek from Galamba in Wakiso District to Birembo in Kibaale District to celebrate freedom fighters’ heroic sacrifices for patriotism. Big Eye narrated how strong the president is giving hope to Ugandans that he is still in position to lead this country for many years.

He praised the energy and the stamina that was exhibited by the president during the walk. He urged Ugandans to support Museveni’s  presidential seat come 2021 general elections.

“We have seen so many things and I will put all of them in one statement, but please Ugandans Lets calm down, the man is still strong, the man is steady,” he said. He also said president has walked 195km without getting tired.

“I have  seen so many youths who have not even completed the journey, they have not completed the trek but the man has completed and he is not sick, he is still steady,” he said.

The presidential adviser on Kampala affairs Catherine Kusasira said that could be the president  lied about his age because he is very strong.

“He might not be reaching 70 years because what he did by walking all those kilometers, he is better that youth of 20 years,” she said.
