You Will Face More Humiliation If You Don’t Resign — Imam Kasozi Tells Justice Catherine Bamugemereire

Muslim cleric who also double as political analyst, Imam Iddih Kasozi has urged Justice Catherine Bamugemereire to resign with immediate effect or face more humiliation.

Appearing on NBS TVs Morning Breeze on Wednesday, Imam Kasozi noted that awarding the soldiers who obstructed her when she went to inspect the controversial land at Mutungu shows that the Land Commission independency was a hoax.

“The rewarding of these soldiers shows that the land commission independency was a hoax, they want her to work within their confines,” he said.

He said that the insulators want her to work within their confines and that justifies the reason why she was attacked.

“The reason why the Land Commission was humiliated is that Catherine crossed to the military yet we all know, this country is a military country,” he noted.

He added that the way president Museveni handled the Mutungo land saga shows that there is a hidden agenda.

He noted that the ploy to humiliate Justice Catherine Bamugemereire was planned long time ago.

“Deputy Attorney General was sent to embarrass her commission, so the epitome of the humiliation was when the president awarded solders who humiliated her,” he said.

He added that rewarding the soldiers who humiliated the Land Commission has made people to question the importance of the medals.

Meanwhile the former official of Buganda kingdom Israel Mayengo noted that there is no merit for the awarded heroes.

“I only blame them for not telling the justice to hold on so that they consult, when you belittle Bamugemereire, it means you are belittling the appointing authority,” he said.

He added that the decorations of soldiers who blocked Justice Catherine Bamugemereire is an act of carelessness and watering down the decorations.
