Fresh Kid Tells Minister Nakiwala To Let Him Sing in New Tune

Patrick Ssenyonjo commonly known as fresh kid has released a new song titled Bambi requesting the State Minister for Youth and Children’s affairs Hon Nakiwala Kiyingi to let him continue with his singing carrier.   

The song is dedicated to all the people with the intention of stopping him from pursuing his music carrier.

In the song, Fresh Kid stated that he has a lot hope and ambitions in music and he is not ready go back to the village where there is no help yet he is currently getting some little money from singing.

A few days ago, Minister of Youth and Children’s affairs, Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi come out and barred Fresh Kid from performing and singing claiming that he is still young and should first go back to school. 

Nakiwala added that Fresh Kid should first concentrate on studies and will resume singing upon 18 years of age.

The minister’s statement caused a lot of uproar and mixed reactions both on the social media and main stream media.

However, the statement that was made by minister Nakiwala left mixed reactions among Ugandans and the world at large where by some people advised the minister to first ascertain the truth about Fresh Kid before she stops him from singing.

Meanwhile the other group of people think that Fresh Kid is too young to sing however he can study while singing.

Minister’s order left Fresh Kid frustrated hence releasing a song requesting her to let him continue with his career because singing is his source of school fees.

Speaking to the media last week, Fresh Kid told journalists that his family is now getting financial support from his singing carrier.
