Over 200 Israelis set to tour different historical places in Uganda

A group of 250 Israel tourists have landed in Uganda to visit different historic places in the country.

They will also tour the historic site because of July 4th 1976 raid that took place at Entebbe old airport at which one of their own citizen Yona Netanyahu lost his life in the struggle to rescue hostages.

The group were warmly welcomed on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at Entebbe International airport by the civil aviation authority and the outgoing Chief Executive officer of the Uganda Tourism Board, Mr Stephen Asiimwe

The tourists will tour areas along River Nile in Jinja, Old terminal building at Entebbe International airport among other interesting places in the country.

The visitors are to spend three days touring the country and they are expected to exit the country on 16th February 2019.

The group of tourists were led by a one Tali Yativ, the Chief Executive Officer of Spirit World Production, a tourism promotion company in Israel.
