Nakawa Division RCC, Herbert Anderson Has intensified his fight against People power boss, Bobi Wine by his increased visits to the ghettos around the division.
Since his appointment last year, Anderson has been sited several times in the ghetto meeting youths, encouraging them to live responsible lifestyles.
“Met some Ghetto Youth From Different Corners of Nakawa Division.. Young People with Talent but without a Link. While visiting different places where they stay, i was able to fish out those involved in Different activities, I led part of them to the Ministry where i asked the Permanent Secretary to support these People. It is fortunate that the Process is now on these people to be supported,” he wrote on his Facebook account on Thursday.
Some analysts believe his regular visits to the ghetto are meant to difuse the Bobi Wine influence.
Before and after his election to parliament, Bobi Wine continues to brand himself as a member of the ghetto, resonating with most of the youths there.
Sources add that the ruling NRM has identified the ghetto in Kampala’s slum areas as points to diffuse and curtail Bobi Wine’s support.
