At least one person has perished and five injured in an accident that occurred along Queensway Entebbe road in Kampala.
The ambulance was heading along one-way from Kibuye round about towards Kampala when it collided with a trailer Reg no UBE 164 D going to Entebbe.
The nasty accident happened on Tuesday at around 1:20am
According to the Deputy spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Police, ASP Luke Owoysigire confirmed the incident and said one unidentified person lost his life on spot and five people were injured and currently rushed to Mulago hospital for treatment.
“Both two drivers are on the run unfortunately one person died and his body was taken to the mortuary for post-mortem” Luke added
He said investigations are still on going to establish the core reason of the accident
