Pastor Sserwadda Stings Bobi Wine Over Tuliyambala Engule Song

1 Mins read

Tuliyambala Engule, a new song that was recently released by Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is still causing controversies and mixed reactions between pastors and the member of public at large leaving the singing Legislator in a difficult situation as another pastor echoes his voice about the same song.

Pastor Joseph Sserwadda

Pastor Joseph Sserwadda of Victory Christian Church, Kibuye warned Bobi wine about Tuliyambala Engule that he will lose support from the public if he refuses to denounce the song.

“All what Bobi Wine is talking about is gullible and fake because he is talking of a political campaign where when he becomes president or leader then he says he will construct Health centres, bring medicine among others, that’s not true and it’s not new Jerusalem,” Sserwadda explained

“Go and tell that legislator using the song to retrain himself for using God’s property for his political campaign,” Sserwadda stated

This is the second time a pastor is coming out to criticize Bobi Wine for using a religious song for his political campaign.

On 2nd January 2019, Pastor Martin Ssempa rebuked the singing Legislator of changing both the meaning and message of the born-again song to his own political ambitions.

He later advised the singer to compose another song which can suit his political interest.

Bobi wine unveiled Tuliyambala Engule song at Enkuuka Jubileewo on December 31, 2018

The song features other artists like Nubian Li, Irene Ntale, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Dr Hilderman, King Saha, Ronald Mayinja among others and it talks about a better country that is yet to be achieved.

According to pastor Joseph Sserwadda, Bobi Wine is about to lose more supporters and God will be angry at him if he doesn’t denounce the song as soon as possible.

“And if he fails to denounce the song, we will hand in him to God and also write to Electoral Commission to release a message that stops all the politicians from using religious songs for their political gains.”
