Mubajje To Complete Idi Amin Mosque

Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje has pledged on behalf of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council to complete Masjid Noor in Bombo, a mosque that was halfway built by the former Uganda president, Idi Amin Dada.

While touring Islamic projects and Muslim community in Bombo on Saturday 6th January 2019, Mufti pledged that he will make sure the mosque is complete and officially commissioned.

Mufti Mubajje assured Muslims in Bombo that Uganda Muslim Supreme Council has capacity to support all their projects provided they avail endorsed construction plans for all their projects to the council.

Mufti emphasized to Muslims in Bombo that Uganda Muslim Supreme Council is their home and they should participate in all its programs and give support to them because they are geared towards the development of Muslims in the country.

On the report read to him by Masjid Noor management, Mubajje assured them that all that is contained in the report will be looked into and worked upon without delay.

“I urge you to keep and maintain peace and unity, be developmental,” he said

He was accompanied by the 2nd deputy Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Ali Waiswa, UMSC Secretary General, Hajji Ramadhan Mugalu, Secretary of Religious Affairs, Murishid Luwemba , Director of Sharia, Sheikh Hatwib Mukulu wa  Kika and among other officials
