Singer Ronald Mayinja has quit Golden band, Uganda Mirror reports.
“This is to inform the directors of Golden band that I Ronald Mayinja wish to exit the band due to reasons worth not mentioning here,” reads a statement issued by Mayinja.
The statement further reads that;
“However, I do thank you for your commendable love and support.
“To my fans, it’s my honour to thank you for your continued support and love that has made my music career a success. I do inform you that am still in Music Industry and offering you the best given your lovely support.
“I wish you a prosperous and fruitful year as we develop Uganda’s Music Industry in particular and Africa at large.”
Mayinja has of recent been nursing political ambitions and this could be the reason he is quitting the band to concentrate on politics.
