Musisi, Lukwago Finally In One Bed

Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi has finally met Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago eye to eye and laughed after a 7years political rift full of disagreements.

For many year’s Lukwago and Jennifer have not been good allies due to political differences

Each of the two claimed to be the political head of KCCA and that’s is one of the factors believed to have ignited the scuffle between the two.

The difference between Lukwago and Jennifer is the nature of tactics and resources they use to achieve their objectives.

Some people believe that Lukwago uses traditional tactics and his position to win favour and support of taxi drivers and market vendors.

Jennifer on the other is using all the resources available at her disposal to appeal to the Urban elites who want a clean and less congested city.

Elias Lukwago has been arrested and jailed on many occasions.

According to KCCA report, Lord Mayor was found guilty of abuse of office, incompetence and misconduct.

All that escalated the rift and disagreement between the Jennifer and Lukwago making them enemies.

According to the letter submitted to president Museveni Musisi will be stepping down on 15th,12,2018 however in the letter Musisi highlighted a number of challenges in the management of Kampala.

Before quitting office KCCA Executive Director, decided to make peace and reconcile with her long-time political enemy, Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago at city hall Kampala.
