A few weeks ago, we exclusively revealed that Vivienne Birungi aka Jalia Mbuga Angella Chebet, wife of embattled shady businessman Suleiman Kabangala Mbuga, had surfaced in public.
That was after Birungi Vivienne being sighted at the introduction ceremony of her brother Sam Mukasa, who was being introduced by city slay Queen Bridget Sammy at her parents’ home in Nansana, Wamala zone.
Days later, Birungi was again sighted at Kisementi based Sky Lounge mingling with tight pals, where they spent the night and left in the wee hours of the morning.
Snoops reveal that Birungi is these days rumoured to be close to a low profile loaded South Africa Based Sangoma only identified as Steve.
Birungi and Steve have been sighted having good times together for close to two weeks now.
An insider intimated to us that Steve is pumping a lot on money in Birungi to bankroll her partying sprees.
The two are said to be too close for comfort and so are regulars in Munyonyo, at happening places in Kololo especially on weekends, something that has been rare with Birungi.
Sources say that ever since Mbuga got arrested in Dubai by International Police (Interpol) in connection to 53m Kronor (about Shs23Bn) fraud which he committed with Birungi, she had kept out of the public eye.
Birungi and Mbuga allegedly fleeced the dime from a company account she jointly ran with her former Muzungu pensioner lover Sten Heinsoo.
Sources say that Birungi has been living a silent life in Kampala but not anymore.
It should be noted that Birungi’s car with personalized number plates ‘SK VIV’ has been sighted within city suburbs of recent.
