Miss Uganda Abenakyo Quiin Secrets Leak

Miss Uganda, Quiin Abenakyo has taken the country by storm with most Ugandans across political and ethnic divides uniting in a show of patriotism to vote for her in the Miss World competition.

Before she made it to the Miss World top 30, little was known about the beauty queen from Mayuge district in Busoga sub-region and now carrying Uganda’s flag high, in SanyaChina

Quiin has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computing.

She has a passion for cooking and dreams of becoming a top Chef and a successful Business Woman. Quiin’s proudest moment was when she participated in the New York Fashion week.

Abenakyo was born in February 1996, to Ugandan parents in Mayuge District. As of November 2018, she had graduated with a degree in business computing

Her favourite film is ‘Coming to America’ with Eddie Murphy and her favourite food is martooke and groundnut sauce. She also enjoys reading and travelling. Personal Motto: ‘If you believe, you can achieve.’

Quinn Abenakyo took over the Miss World Uganda reign from her predecessor, Leah Kagasa, on Friday 10th August 2018. Tyra Margach and Aheebwa Patience were elected First and Second Runner Up, respectively, at the national final televised on NBS. Anita fabiola and Miss Deedan were the show hosts to a full audience! The performers for the evening were Micheal Ouma, Jose Sax, Jacinta Ug and Beenie Gunter.

Quinn won a Toyota Wish car (UBD series). Miss World Uganda and the First and Second Runners Up also won a trip to the Netherlands, a treat at Pineapple Bay in Bulago Islands and one-year gym membership at the Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Furthermore, the titleholders received Uganda Aviation School Scholarships. The scholarships include cabin crew training, airline customer care, aviation security and ticketing. After her coronation, Quinn stated,

“In the end I left everything to God. When my name was eventually announced as the winner, I was obviously a little shocked but also overjoyed! I remember smiling continuously and waving at the cheerful crowd.”
