Ever since he refused to take part in the local awards organized in Kampala, Bebe cool will tomorrow be battling for the AFRIMA award with Tanzanian Diamond in the same category.
Bebe cool who has been in the USA busy with Tuberculosis work and came out last week to say that he doesn’t mind about his haters despite the fact that they will boycott him by not voting for him in the awards after all if Diamond wins still it will come to East Africa.
This has made many artists like Navio, Eddy Kenzo who have argued Ugandans to vote for Bebe Cool to bring the award home.
For the last four years that the awards have lasted, this fifth edition seems to have garnered the most publicity and the difference could easily be attached to two popular Ugandan rivals.
With the involvement of Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool in the awards events, this has been a key factor to their publicity.
Navio thinks that Ugandans should stand as one, united in support for Bebe Cool.
He is also proud that Bobi Wine is also involved in the awards as a speaker on the panel of the AFRIMA Music Business Summit.
