Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine has set a new date and venue for his much-anticipated concert, Kyaranga.
Bobi Wine announced One Love beach, Busaabala as the venue for the concert that will be held on November 10, 2018.
“Having faced challenges in organizing our Kyarenga concert. We organized it in Namboole a couple of times but we were failed. We have sat with the team and decided to move on with our concert.
Having met with stakeholders we have decided to have our concert at One Love beach, Busaabala on November 10, 2018,” said Bobi Wine today morning at Firebase Offices in Kamwokya.
Police called off the concert early this month arguing that the organizers hadn’t been cleared by the Namboole management while the second attempt received a red flag from FUFA, the football governing body in the country citing delicacy of the pitch ahead of the AFCON qualifier game against Cape Verde slated for 17th November.
The other attempt was again blocked by the Namboole management arguing that the said venue was already booked for a wedding reception though unconfirmed reports later indicated that the said wedding never existed.
