Mohammed Kawoya, the dad to the fallen Buyende district DPC, ASP Muhammad Kirumira has received Shs20million from president Museveni as condolences.

The Shs20million was handed over to him by singer Catherine Kusasiira on behalf of President Museveni.

“I would like to handover this money to Dad. It is Shs20million. I have delivered the message from the president,” said Kusasiira as she handed over the cash to Kirumira’s dad, Mohammed Kawoya.

“As a parent I cannot fail to appreciate because I believe this is from the bottom of your heart and you did it. I also thank the president for thinking about me.”

This website understands that a few weeks ago, Kirumira was brutally killed by unknown gunmen near his home in Bulenga.

It is worth noting that President Museveni gave Yasin Kawuma’s family Shs20million.

Yasin Kawuma was a driver to Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

He was shot dead during the Arua Municipality byelection campaigns.
