Pictures that have been shared by the presidential Press Secretary Don Innocent Wanyama show that one of President Museveni’s car was smashed.
“The President’s car that was attacked by opposition supporters, smashing the hind window, this evening in Arua town. The police will issue a detailed statement on this incident,” Don posted on Facebook.
Several social media commentators believe that there is some spinning since it seems unreal for bullet proof car to be damaged by a stone.
Others opined that how can one attack the president’s car with all the security cars around it.
President Museveni was in Arua to campaign for the NRM Candidate Nusura Tiperu.
It is believed that the attack on the president’s car happed after the final rally.
