Museveni Off To Sudan

President Yoweri Museveni has left for Sudan to attend a meeting centering on the process of the peace agreement on South Sudan.

Mr. Museveni was seen off today at Entebbe International Airport, by the Minister for the Presidency, Hon. Esther Mbayo, the Head of Public Service, Mr. John Mitala, the Chief of the Defence Forces, General David Muhoozi, the Commissioner General of Prisons, Dr. Johnson Byabashaija and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Brig. Muzeeyi Sabiiti.

Before departure, President Museveni met with President Cyril Ramaphosa at the airport to wish him safe return home.

The South African leader and his wife were in the country to attend the traditional give-away ceremony involving his son Andile Ramaphosa who is betrothed to Ms. Bridget Birungi Rwakairu.

The ceremony took place in Kampala at the residence of former Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi.

President Ramaphosa and his delegation later left for home and were seen off by Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, former Premier Amama Mbabazi and his wife Jacqueline Mbabazi.
