Singer Joseph Mayanja who is famously known by his stage name, Dr Jose Chameleone has been dragged to Katwe Police for assaulting Bukedde TV journalist, Josephat Sseguya.
The nasty incident happened over the weekend when singer Catherine Kusasira was introducing her bonkmate Fred Seruga.
Eyewitnesses have revealed that after performing, Jose Chameleone attacked Sseguya and punched him saying that he is always writing falsehoods in the media to bring him down.

Sseguya was punched in the stomach and chest before some people came to his rescue.
After the function, Sseguya decided to drag Chameleone to Katwe Police and a case was opened under file SD: 59/22/04/2018.
Jose Chameleone will be summoned anytime to record a statement on what transpired on the said day.

Yesterday, Jose Chameleone said all that is trash.
“My fans, they should not deceive you. Sseguya is my friend and we have come from far, he is my good friend,” said Chameleone before adding that; “That video that you saw, I was asking him why he was writing bad thing about me yet he is my best friend.”
“But for him he went and said that I beat him. I did not and I have never beaten Sseguya. The problem is him writing falsehoods about me.
“Sseguya is my friend but if he chooses to take me to court, God will judge us from there.”

He also promised to look for Sseguya personally and talk to him and they see how to resolve their small differences.
