Kampala socialite and self-proclaimed Tycoon, Jack Pemba is in hiding after court issued a warrant of Arrest over $300,000 debt.
Through his lawyers Mutesasira Associates & Court Bailiff, city tycoon Godfrey Kirumira sued Jack Pemba for failure to pay $300,000 and now should be arrested on sight.
“Whereas Godfrey Kirumira the plaintiff/Applicant in the above suit claims the sum of $300,000 (United States Dollars three hundred thousand) and has proved to the satisfaction of court that there is a probable cause for believing that the respondent/ defendant Jack Pemba is about to leave Uganda and upon his nonappearance before his honourable court after having been dully served with a notice to show cause why he should not furnish security for his appearance,” reads the warrant of Arrest from high court, commercial division.
“These are to command you to arrest the respondent/defendant unless the respondent/defendant shall deposit the sum of $300,000 (United States Dollars three hundred thousand) with court or furnish some other sufficient security to satisfy the plaintiff’s/ Applicant’s claim and or to guarantee his appearance and to bring the said respondent/defendant Jack Pemba to this honourable court with all continent speed.”
Pemba has also been instructed to clear the outstanding debt before 27 April 2018.
“You are further commanded to return the warrant on or before 27th day of April 2018 at 9:00am, with an endorsement certifying the day when and the manner it has been executed or the reason to why it has not been executed.”
This website understands that several car belonging to Jack Pemba have been impounded by Kirumira in an effort to recover his money.
Sources have revealed that Kirumira is not happy with Pemba for failure to pay back the money yet the latter is living large after acquiring 2018, Lexus Sport Plus car and throwing a mega birthday party to his wife.
