We Don’t Know Albert Mwesigye Who Died In Abu Dhabi — Middle East Consults

Muyenga based Labour Export Company, Middle East Consults Limited have revealed that they don’t have any contract with Albert Mwesigye who died in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago.

“Middle East Consultants has never secured employment for the stated deceased person

‘Albert Mwesigye’. We have no record of the deceased in our system records nor a contract with the deceased.  We have no communication with anyone claiming to know the deceased nor have we had any discussions with the wife to the deceased as reported in the publication. The statement within the publication that 15million was asked for is false,” reads the statement signed by, Middle East Consults Limited.

A few days ago, online media has been awash by the news that Middle East Consults Limited abandoned the dead body of a one Albert Mwesigye whom they had taken to work in Abu Dhabi.

Below is a Statement from Middle East Consults Limited

We have noted reports of a circulating online publication by Redspy Newspaper and other persons about “a one Albert Mwesigye who died in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago and that the deceased travelled under Middle East Consultants Limited. The publication further states that

Middle East Consultants is asking for 15M to from the deceased’s wife to transport the body back to

Uganda.”

Although this publication is already in circulation, the publication is not accurate and the following are the facts that the public ought to know.

1) Middle East Consultants has never secured employment for the stated deceased person

“Albert Mwesigye”.

2) We have no record of the deceased in our system records nor a contract with the deceased.

3) We have no communication with anyone claiming to know the deceased nor have we had any discussions with the wife to the deceased as reported in the publication. The statement within the publication that 15million was asked for is false.

4) As a policy, we always work hand in hand with families of any deceased person throughout the burial arrangements not limited to returning the body to Uganda.

FACT FINDINGS

5) We have established that the deceased travelled to Abu Dhabi in the company of a one “Peter”

Under a visitor visa with help from Peter’s brother a one Kalisa Augustine who is based in Abu

Dhabi.

6) The deceased before the time and date of death has been staying at Bed Space, Al WAHDA

Area, Airport Road, ABU DHABI.

7) Further details will be shared in due course.
