Urinating Ex MP Kyamadidi Joins FDC

Former Rwampara MP, Vincent Mujuni Kyamadidi who is famously known for urinating on a police officer, has quit his party NRM and joined FDC.

Kyamadidi announced is crossing in the presence of FDC President Eng. Patrick Amurait Oboi, FDC icon, Rtd Col Dr Kizza Besigye, Buhweju MP, Francis Mwijukye; Kawempe South MP, Mubarak Munyagwa and FDC Secretary for Mobilisation, Ingrid Kamateneti Turinawe.

“I officially tell you that I have crossed to FDC, where I have high hopes bringing fundamental change in this country,” Kyamadidi announced amidst a heavy police deployment and in an environment full of teargas.

Heavy Deployment and Teargas

As usual, where FDC icon Rtd Col Dr Kizza Besigye is, there are high chances of firing teargas.

It all started from Nyamiyaga, Kibarama in Bugamba Sub-county where Kyamadidi was supposed to hold his defection rally.

Police led by Mbarara DPC Jaffer Magyezi, cordoned off the place and said the rally was not in line with the law since they had not informed police.

However this was watered down by Buhweju MP, Francis Mwijukye who produced a letter dated March 28, 2018 to the Inspector General of Police indicating that they were planning to hold mobilization rallies in Mbarara on April 5, 2018.

Mbarara DPC remained defiant and Kyamadidi crew decided to hold the rally at a nearby place.

It is worth noting that Kyamadidi lost his seat to Charles Ngabirano in 2016 general elections.
