Ronald Mayinja Joins Tubonga Naawe Musicians, Drops Africa & Bunkenke Songs

Former Eagle’s Production singer Ronald Mayinja who has been known for criticizing government through his songs shocked many when he performed at Gigwateko thanks giving ceremony in Kiboga district.

Our sources close to the Tononoza singer reveal that it’s Ssabavulu Balaam Barugahaara who negotiated the deal.

“Balaam is the one who secured the deal. He even took him to greet president Museveni,” reveals the source.

The entire NRM party leadership was in Kiboga district for a thanksgiving and celebratory ceremony organised by the NRM Chief Whip, Hon Ruth Nankabirwa.

Several artists from the famous Tubonga Naawe music cult, entertained the guests and NRM supporters that attended the celebration.

As he Performed, Ronald Mayinja restrained himself from singing songs that criticize the NRM government.

He avoided songs like, Africa, Bunkenke, Landlord, Embeera Ya sente, Ensi Yaffe and many more.

On the same ceremony, President Museveni revealed that all the 317 MPs the supported the amendment of article 102(b) of the constitution of the Republic of Uganda are new historicals.

“Let me thank the NRM legislators who recently amended the Constitution. They are the new historicals. We responded to the opposition who were provoking us with threats of Kogikwatako.”
