Court in Entebbe has remanded suspected killer of Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo famously known by his stage name Mowzey Radio over murder.

Godfrey Wamala, 28 known as Troy among his peers, was on Wednesday remanded to Kigo government prison by Entebbe chief magistrate Mary Kaitesi.

Troy had appeared before Chief Magistrate Kaitesi for formal reading of the murder charges against him.

Troy has been sent on remand until February 26, 2018 after the resident state Attorney, Julius Muhiirwe requested court for more time for further investigations.

Radio was in the intensive care unit for two weeks after undergoing a brain surgery.

His admission to hospital resulted from a bar brawl where he was allegedly punched to comma by Godfrey Wamala.
