Goodlyfe Singer Radio Thumped To Pulp

Goodlyfe singer Moses Ssekibogo famously known by his stage name Radio was last night thumped to pulp before being rushed to Case Clinic where he is currently battling for his life.

“He has been in comma for over 8hours now and he has severe cuts on his head,” said the source who preferred to stay anonymous.

Radio is well known for his good vocals and being a fellow who has no respect for other people.

“He likes fighting people but this time I think he landed on a wrong person,” said a barman before adding that; “I hope he learns a lesson from this incident and he doesn’t, the next fight might take his life.”

Radio is part of the Goodlyfe Crew. His singing partner is Douglas Sseguya aka Weasel.

Radio provides smooth RnB vocals while Weasel’s contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes.

Because of their prominence, Radio and Weasel have formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel.

Radio has had a prosperous musical career. He studied at Holy Cross Lake View Secondary School in Jinja, where he served as president of the school’s Youth Alive Club.

He composed musical projects for the club that succeeded in inter-school Youth Alive Club competitions.

In 2002, Radio studied at Kiira College Butiki in Jinja where he had a two-year break in his musical career concentrating on his studies.

He later joined Jose Chameleone’s Leone Island Crew in 2004.

While working as Chameleone’s backing vocalist, Radio released solos on Leone Island Records.

These include “Jennifer”, “Dagala”, “Wololo” and “Sweet Lady”.

Sweet Lady was well received, though Radio’s public profile remained low.

Radio and Weasel became backing vocalists for the greatly popular Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone, but later broke off from Chameleone’s Leone Island Crew in 2008 to form the Goodlyfe Crew.

The duo Radio and Weasel songs have been successful on Ugandan radio.

Starting with “Nakudata” in 2008, the duo released “Lwaki Onumya”, “Zuena”, “Nyambura” and “Bread and Butter”.

In mid-2008, the duo collaborated with artists such as Rachel Kay, Blu*3, OS, Allan Toniks, GNL and Zambia’s General Ozzy.

They performed live and collaborated with Ugandan artist Keko. of recently, they knew African faces further with the likes of PJ Powers, with their song dubbed “Home to Africa”, with Jamaican superstar on their jam “Fire & Butter”

The super talented duo have further their road to success by collaborating with the Warner Music Group twin brothers Locnville in their single Done

Radio and Weasel have over 15 music albums and they were the first East African musicins to be nominated in the prestigious BET Awards.
