Ahead of the festive season, Uganda Police has intensified its night operations in all Kampala suburbs to flush out the goons that have for long been tormenting the dwellers.
Over the weekend, 40days of notorious goons came to an end when they were nabbed at a checkpoint mounted along Lukuli, Buziga Road.
According to Konge police post OC, Eston Atusingwize, the detained suspects were identified as Kabunga Francis and Senfuuka Jamadah.
They are residents of Kibuye and were driving a Honda car registration number UAP 695B.
Upon interrogation, the suspects revealed that they usually target places that have no security lights.
OC Atusingwize advised the public to be vigilant in these coming festive days.
He further advised car owners without gates to install car alarm systems, have telephone numbers of their area police officers at their fingertips, buy alarm padlocks for their doors and enforce target.
