Detained Forum for Democratic Change leader will know their fate tomorrow after today’s court in Nagalama was adjourned Wednesday 25th October 2017.

Former presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye and three others filed an application seeking unconditional release from Nagalama police station where they have been detained for more than 48hours.

Before adjourning the session, Nakifuma Grade One magistrate Sylvia Nvanungi said she will deliver her ruling tomorrow.

This website understands that the summoned police officials did not appear in court but this never stopped the session from going on.

The summoned police officers were Nagalama DPC Jesca Naawe and OC/CID Mr Labu Chepcule.

Kizza Besigye, FDC secretary for Mobilization, Ingrid Turinawe, FDC presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat and Rukungiri district councillor, Innocent Tashobya have been detained at Nagalama since their arrest from Rukungiri on Thursday last week.

There was shedding blood in Rukungiri when FDC supporters overpowered Police. In the scuffle, two people were reportedly shot dead by police officers.
