Celebrated Ugandan jazz maestro Isaiah Katumwa is set to headline the highly anticipated Africa Peace Concert, scheduled for 31st October 2025 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Organized in partnership with Rotary International, the event aims to promote peace, unity, and social harmony across the African continent through the power of music.
Under the theme “Let’s Make Peace the Loudest Melody in Africa,” the concert will bring together Rotarians, peace advocates, and music lovers from across the region for an evening of soulful performances and reflection.
In a video message shared on social media, Katumwa invited the public to join him in what he described as “a night where rhythm meets purpose.”
“The rhythm of peace is calling,” he said. “Let’s unite in harmony, purpose, and music that heals.”
The Africa Peace Concert will feature a lineup of prominent African performers, cultural showcases, and peace messages from influential leaders. Proceeds from the event will support Rotary’s peace-building initiatives and youth empowerment programs.
Tickets are available through africapeaceconcert.org.
With Kampala preparing to host dignitaries and guests from across Africa, the concert promises not only to entertain but also to remind audiences that peace, like music, is a universal language that binds humanity together.
