Craig David to Headline World of Sounds Concert in Kampala

1 Mins read

British R&B star Craig David will headline the second edition of the World of Sounds concert, scheduled for August 29, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala.

This marks the award-winning artist’s first performance in Uganda, in a show organisers say will be a “historic night of rhythm, soul, and artistic fusion.” David, known for chart-topping hits like 7 Days, Walking Away, and Fill Me In, has sold over 15 million records globally and earned multiple BRIT and Grammy nominations over his two-decade career.

Dubbed the R&B Edition, the 2025 show builds on the success of the inaugural World of Sounds concert held in October 2023, which featured performances by Myko Ouma, Kenneth Mugabi, Maurice Kirya, A Pass, and Juliana Kanyomozi.

“This year’s concert is more than a performance. It’s a celebration of culture, creativity, and collaboration,” said Producer Washington, the event organiser. “Craig David brings global appeal and energy that will elevate the experience for every music lover attending.”

The event will also showcase a selection of Uganda’s top live performers and instrumentalists, continuing the series’ focus on alternative music and artistic excellence.

Tickets and more event details will be announced on official platforms.
