Woman On The Run After Defiling 11-year-old boy

1 Mins read

Police in Luwero District are actively searching for a woman suspected of sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy.

The identity of the suspect remains unknown, and she is a resident of Namaliga-East Zone in Bombo Town Council, while the victim resides in the same area.

The incident reportedly occurred last Saturday at around 4 a.m. The young victim had left his parents’ home to collect grasshoppers near the nearby lights.

Along the way, he encountered a woman known to him by face, who stopped him and offered to give him something to take home.

She then persuaded him to go to her house.

Upon reaching her house, the woman allegedly closed the door, undressed the boy, and forced him to sleep on her bed.

She warned him that if he made any noise, she would accuse him of being a thief.

Subsequently, the suspect coerced the boy into engaging in sexual activity and threatened to harm him if he disclosed the incident.

The victim later returned home crying, and when his parents inquired, he explained what had transpired.

They immediately sought medical assistance for the boy and reported the matter to the police.

Sam Twiineamazima, the Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson, confirmed the incident in a statement.

He explained that upon receiving the information, the police responded promptly, documented the scene, and registered a case of aggravated defilement.

This incident comes on the heels of the arrest of the director of King’s Palace Primary School in Luwero District for allegedly defiling six pupils who were candidates for the Primary Leaving Examinations (P.L.E).

The suspect, identified as Jona Ssebamanya, is accused of sexually abusing victims aged 14, 15, and 17 years.
