TOTAL LOVE! Ugandans Shower Museveni With ‘Get Well Soon’ Messages As He Heals From COVID-19

In a show of their love and affection, Ugandans are using different channels to wish President Yoweri Museveni a quick recovery from COVID-19.

Last week, the president revealed that he had tested positive for the virus, the same day he delivered the State of The Nation address.

Since then, there has been an outpouring of love that has seen Ugandans take to social media to wish the president a speedy recovery. The latest is that a banner with his image and words “Get Well” has been erected along the wall of State House Nakasero where the president is spending time in his isolation.

Many have also delivered flowers alongside their signatures wishing the National Chairman of the NRM party Godspeed.

Across the country, at public gatherings many are devoting time to pray for the president who has been providing updates about his recovery from the virus.
