Detectives at the CID headquarters have this morning, arrested blogger Isma Tusubira aka Isma Olaxess after days on the run.
Olaxess has been slapped with Offensive Communication and Criminal Libel charges.
The spokesperson of the CID, Charles Twiine confirmed this development.
He has been on the run since last week, when his co-accused were arrested and remanded to Kitalya Prison.
Isaac Semulondo Kawalya a.k.a Kayz, Williams Makuliro a.k.a Mako, and Brian Kennedy Wako are his co-accused who were remanded over on Offensive Communication charges.
Trouble for the group emanates from a suit filed by Singer Omulangira Ssuuna.
Through his lawyers; Mr. Robert Rutaaro and Mr. Precious Nahabwe from Elgon Associated Advocates, Ssuuna dragged them to court over allegations of defamation and character assassination.
They claimed, according to the singer, that he practices witchcraft.
