MANIFESTO WEEK: Refurbished Old Taxi Park To Accommodate 1,200 Taxis

Works on the renovation of the Old Taxi Park in Kampala are near completion with the park set to host 1.200 taxis, according to Kampala Minister, Benny Namugwanya.

Benny was presenting a report on the implementation of the manifesto for the past five years.

“We are upgrading the Old Taxi Park. It’s near completion and is expected to accommodate 1, 200 commercial taxis,” she said.

In addition to efforts to decongest the city, Benny added that, Phase 1 of construction of the Kampala Flyover which started in 2019 is underway. President @KagutaMuseveni officiated at the commencement of the Kampala Flyover construction, at Clock Tower.
