One person is reportedly dead following an accident along the Kampala – Jinja highway, according to the Uganda Red Cross.
The Red Cross which is responding to the accident has shared photos of the scene and revealed that fourteen people have so far been referred to hospital with injuries.
“Our Emergency medical response team right now in Mabira attending to mass causalities as a result of a head-on collision involving a Coaster & Fuel Truck. So far 14 reffered to Kawolo hospital, 1 registered death, and team still on ground,” a statement by Uganda Red Cross posted on tweeter reads.
