Bobi Wine To CDF: Present Our Missing Supporters

1 Mins read

Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) Party President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who was detained and freed after a protest last evening, is emphasizing peaceful demonstration as a right to demand fairness.

Speaking at the national Unity platform’s headquarters, Kyagulanyi also responded to President Yoweri Museveni’s statement that his party is planning to kill their own supporters and blame it on Government. He says these are NRM tactics.

Despite his arrest, members of his party managed to delver their petition asking the army leadership to release their arrested supporters.

Kawempe South MP elect Kazibwe Bashir confirms delivery of NUP petition to CDF.

“We have delivered the petition to the CDF and Defense Ministry through which we demand immediate release of our people. This is after today’s press conference that announced the same. Giving up on our rights and freedom is never an option,” Kazibwe said on Tuesday.
