Uganda’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Okoth Ochola has reportedly submitted a report into investigations in the cold blooded murder of ex boxer Isaac Ssenyange, alias Mando Zebra, to President Yoweri Museveni.
According to reports, the police are still waiting on Museveni’s orders to move on those suspected of killing the former pugilist.
Zebra was gunned down on December 30, as he fled from assailants, who attacked his home in St Francis Zone in Bwaise, a Kampala suburb.
President Yoweri Museveni later while addressing the nation, confirmed that Zebra had been killed by the military and promised to get to solve the matter.
The reports add that with President Museveni involved in the case, police cannot make any move without getting his permission.
