Innocent Nabaasa Kashobera has been slowly but surely mobilising support in Rukungiri and analysts in the district now believe, they could be headed for a Senegal-France like upset in the polls set to be held on 14th January 2020.

“Even after receiving 500 Millions from her party NRM, Medius Kaharata has vowed not to spend it because she thinks all her opponents are “Weak.” Inside Sources from Kaharata and NRM camp have revealed.

Rumor has it that Medius’ father Kaharata injected alot of money during her daughter’s NRM primaries and when the NRM Cash came, He decided to retain it to keep his business afloat.

Also alot of people in Rukungiri say the father to Medius Kaharata is the oné seen moře often campaigning for her than the candidate a thing that has created suspicion if Medius čan actually legislate.

This also explains why she has been avoiding media debates with her opponents especially the New kid on the block, Nabaasa Innocent Kashobera.

Ať first the competition seemed like it would be between FDC’s Betty Muzanira and NRM’s Medius Kaharata, but news coming in is that the youthful and Independent Candidate Nabaasa Innocent Kashobera has become the people’s Darling and favorité with her articulation of Issues and has been regarded as the Best Orator in the Rukungiri Woman MP Race.

It is believed that Kaharata, used alot of money and got loans during primaries(over 1Billion) reason they have to pay back now.

However, they regret it because they are in dilema as the vibe they Initiatives thought to have is steadily shifting. Also people ask for money they were used to which was used to pay off the loans and the competition has since shifted.

Mr Karahata is now stuck and confused on what to do next. Inside sources say he is also disappointed in his daughter (Midius) for not pushing herself beyond him!

In most deep parts of Rukungiri Kaharata (the father) is more popular than the Kaharata (the daughter) and is the oné always seen campaigning for her daughter.

What most people are wondering is if her father is the oné that will go to Parliament.

This is one of the reasons why the competition has become tight.

A close associate has also revealed that her marriage drama has affected her popularity especially amongst women and residents of Buyanja, it’s said she’s ‘married’ to a married man, one Benson who abandoned his first wife in Buyanja once he met Midius on dutý while in Dubai!

Also the issue of her religion has created Unanswered questions. The Kaharata family is known as catholic but masses have since got to know that she it’s the majority religion in the district, that Midius subscribes to the Kakande Ministries a cult that hasn’t been welcomed by many in Rukungiri which is predominantly catholic.

On the other Hand the incumbent FDC’s Betty Muzanira has strong catholic support though her support in the masses has relatively been affected by the new entrants.

The other contenders Nabaasa Innocent Kashobera an Independent has since been seen on great strides as most think she is likely to make a huge political surprise.
Political veteran Winnie Babihuga who had lost in FDC primaries is the fourth contender in the race.

Close sources within NRM say, they regret not to have chosen Marysent as flag bearer as NRM could be on the verge to lose the woman MP seat to either an Independent or opposition again.

One thing for sure, the woman MP in Rukungiri is still up for grabs, no candidate is a sure deal for now.!
