Museveni ‘Secures Future Of Bobi Wine Beach’ After Flagging Off Busabala Road Construction

President Yoweri Museveni on Wednesday flagged off construction the Najjanankumbi-Busabala road works in Kampala.

According to the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), the Najjanankumbi—Busabala road will comprise of improvement of Service Roads along the Expressway.

“All big roads will be worked upon. This road is near the scouts and girl guides base(At Kaazi) but a few years ago we got embarrassed when scouts from all over the world came and the road was not in good condition. When they return, they will find the road in good condition,” Museveni said at the function.

Service roads will run parallel to the Expressway on either side linking communities of Munyonyo, Lweza & Busabala to the Munyonyo Spur at designated locations.

The Busabala area is famous for presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s beach where he used to hold concerts before they were banned. The road is known for its unbearable dust levels.
