National Resistance Movement Secretary General, Justine Lumumba Kasule has has gone into self-isolation after 3 of her aides tested positive for COVID-19.
“This is to inform the leadership and fraternity of the National Resistance Movement and the country at large, that three (3) of my handlers with whom I work with, yesterday tested positive for COVID-19,” Said Lumumba in a statement to NRM leaders and supporters.
The statement further reads that; “I have therefore taken advice from our scientists to immediately enter into self-quarantine as a precautionary measure, while I wait for results of the rapid test I have had to take. All the campaign mobilization and coordination activities at the National Resistance Movement Secretariat will continue normally.”
As of 29th November 2020, cumulative confirmed cases are 20,459 while the deaths are 205.
